Each summer Payomet’s Cirque by the Sea professional circus artists write, produce and perform an original and compelling piece with a contemporary focus or lesson, fun for all ages and family members – not just kids! Their shows have ranged from gender equality to global warming to the effects of pollution and overfishing – each production is educational, unique, and riotous fun for the entire family. Roots: A Farm to Circus Show
This high flying, barnyard packed circus took the audience on the journey of a young farmer with an entrepreneurial spirit who inherits his family farm– and wants to shake things up, abandon tradition and turn a major profit. But when his big budget plans hit a snag, he’s forced to reevaluate everything. Together with a cast of nimble farm hands they unearth the true value of sustainable farming and sow the seeds of a brighter future with astounding acrobatics, aerialists, and clowns.
