On Saturday, August 27th, in collaboration with the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM), Payomet hosts a special celebration -
Hopper’s Fantasy Feast
Payomet’s big summer fun(d)raiser will begin with a 5pm performance of Hopper’s Ghosts followed at 6:30 at the tent by “Hopper’s Fantasy Feast,” generous hors d’oeuvres drawn from Ed & Jo’s food fantasies inside the play. Complimentary wine, and raw bar. Silent & Live Auction (including signed original Berenice Abbott photograph of Hopper).
|
| The title of this party takes its name from one of the leitmotifs that runs through Hopper’s Ghosts. In the play, Edward is constantly hungry and his appetite unmet, while Jo fantasizes about the food that he would prepare for him, were he a different man.
