The Sacred Mounds

The Sacred Mounds can be best described as a unique musical connection. We are not held down to a specific genre of music. Our sense of autonomy enables us to play whatever we feel and however we want. This cherished freedom makes the music come alive in the minds of our audience.

The Elbows

Emma, J, Julia and Brett. The Elbows have been playing shows for kids of all ages on Cape Cod and beyond since circa 2000. Since then they’ve played to thousands of eager kids who dance and shake to the infectious grooves.

Lets meet the Elbows!

The Amazing Richard

Like many young people Rich was fascinated by magic as a kid after seeing a local magician. Rich began practicing and reading every Magic book in the library many times over. In High school he began networking with professional magicians, learning stage craft at Barnstable High School, and performing local shows. At the University of Massachusetts he studied as a Technical Theatre/Performance major and continued to hone his magic. Meanwhile he was a founding member of the Peabody House Theatre Coop in Somerville.

Naomi Shelton

Like many gospel and rhythm and blues singers, Naomi Davis Shelton learned to sing at an early age in the very church where she was baptized. In those days Naomi was inspired by the southern gospel quartets like Sam Cooke and the Soul Stirrers, and the Five Blind Boys of Alabama. “Those were pretty much my mentors. I was inspired by their music – the spiritual tone they had in their voice. They wasn’t doing a whole lot of hollering and stuff, they was just outright singing. During them years we weren’t around a whole lot of big time people singing.
