Many studies published in recent years show that learning to juggle actually grows the brain! People of all ages who learn juggling exhibit increases in gray matter in multiple areas of the brain. As with other forms of exercise, juggling can also be good for relieving stress, sometimes known as "active relaxation." These classes, taught by Trevor Pearson, will use a combination of new and old teaching methods to allow participants of varying ages and physical abilities to enjoy the feeling and benefits of learning juggling in an inclusive, accessible way.

At Truro Community Center Multipurpose Room:
Open workshop format: full group warmup followed by individual and split group instruction in whatever you're most interested in learning/improving.
Some options include toss juggling, contact juggling, hula hoop, object balance...

Wednesday, June 20, 10 am

At Wellfleet Senior Center:
Lesson of the week format: beginner-level lesson in new object manipulation skill each week, with open time in latter half of class for further exploring technique of the week or training whatever you're most interested in.
